These Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the GlowWords mobile application and any content or services made available through it. By installing or using the app you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use GlowWords.
1. Eligibility & availability
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use GlowWords. Some features may not be available in certain countries or on certain devices.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to install and use the app solely for your own non-commercial language learning. All rights not expressly granted remain with us.
3. Permitted use & restrictions
- Do not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise exploit the app.
- Do not interfere with security features, access the app through automated means, or attempt to exceed imposed limits.
- Do not upload infringing, unlawful, or harmful content via highlights, imports or translations.
4. User content & translations
You remain responsible for any text you import, highlight, translate or submit. By submitting content you grant us and our service providers a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the requested functionality (e.g., translations, flashcards). You must ensure you have the right to use any imported material.
5. Subscriptions & billing
- GlowWords Plus subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payments, refunds and cancellations are governed by the applicable store terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via your store account settings.
- Free trials convert to paid plans when the trial ends unless cancelled in time. Only one trial may be available per account where permitted by the stores.
- We do not store full payment information. We receive purchase receipts and entitlement status to unlock premium features.
6. Rewarded ads
Watching rewarded ads is optional. If you choose to watch one, the ad network records completion to deliver the in-app reward. Ad availability may vary.
7. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in GlowWords, including software, content, logos, and designs, belong to the independent developer. Third-party marks referenced in the app belong to their respective owners.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: use the app for fraudulent purposes, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any service, interfere with other users’ experience, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or the policies of Apple or Google.
9. Disclaimers
GlowWords is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that translations, AI explanations, or speech synthesis will be error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from or relating to your use of GlowWords. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or the subscription during the three months preceding the event.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the app at any time if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using GlowWords at any time and can cancel subscriptions through the relevant store.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local law applies. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Armenia, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have in your country of residence.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. The “Effective” date above shows the latest version. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
